Important: All of the handouts for this course will
be placed on the web page in pdf format. This will make it possible for
you to (theoretically) view and print the documents exactly as they look when I hand them out in class. If this doesn't work for you, let me know and we'll see if we can figure out why.
To view and print copies of all of the handouts from this course, you will
need to Download
the Adobe Acrobat Reader. In most cases, the web browser you are using will
already have the capability to read these documents, so give it a try: click
on one of the links below, and if the document comes into view, then you are
golden. If you get some sort of error message, or the computer asks you if you
want to save the file as text, then that means the machine you're using doesn't
have the capability to read pdf documents. Follow the download link above to
get set up. If you have any trouble downloading this software over the
web, the other choices are:
- If the computer you are using has a CD-ROM drive, I can lend you the installer CD and you can install it yourself directly.
- If not, I can e-mail you a copy of the installer, which you can then use to install the software. This will be the least reliable method.
If you're having trouble downloading the software, probably the best solution
is to ask somebody you know for help!!! NOTE: All of the computers in labs on
campus are capable of reading any handouts, so if you're having trouble on a home
computer, you can just pop into a computer lab.
