Middletown Resources
Middletown Public Library recently sponsored a Teaching American History presentation highlighting the books and resources available for K-12 students in Middletown.

In addition to a great collection of books on a wide variety of topics in American history for your students, we also got to see their digital online collection on the history of Middletown. These included photographs, negatives, and slides from the Crout Collection, the MPL Art Collection, and the Middletown Historical Project.
Access these collections at www.middletownlibrary.org/htm/subjecthistory.htm.
We were also able to meet Jessica Chamberlain, the Team Leader of the Children's Department. Ms. Chamberlain can help you find additional resources or give you ideas on how to best use MPL's collections for your grade level and topic. Her contact information is below. Thank you to Middletown Public Library and Ms. Chamberlain for this great presentation.
