I graduated from Judson College, Elgin, Illinois with a BA in Psychology and completed teaching certificate at Miami University with a concentration in Fine Arts.

Married, with three adult sons, two daughters-in-law and one adorable new granddaughter.

I enjoy exploring historical sites on vacation. I received a grant for authentic historical costumes students wear in classroom for interviews, act-it-outs and other activities that enhance the History Alive! curriculum.
