The office of Student Services at Miami University
Hamilton believes that students and their learning
experiences are of primary concern and the office
offers a wide range of services, educational activities
and leadership opportunities intended to foster
a positive, dynamic and intellectually stimulating
campus environment that enables students to develop
to their fullest potential.
Office of Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities (OSA) organizes four objectives: new student orientation, student activities/organizations that encourage student growth through group involvement, leadership development and service learning and community service. OSA strives for student participation in planning, coordinating and implementing a broad array of programs, services and activities that promote the quality of student life on a commuter campus and a true sense of community on campus. Essentially the overall educational experience of students through development of social, cultural, and intellectual is the focal point of OSA.
Counseling
Services
Counseling Services at Miami University Hamilton
help students identify, develop, and utilize personal,
campus, and community resources so that students
may facilitate the clarification and realization
of their unique career, academic, and personal
goals.
Disability
Services
The Coordinator of Disability Services provides
support services and resources that will ensure
students with disabilities the opportunity to
pursue their college education. The coordinator
also assists other University departments in providing
access to services and programs in the most integrated
setting possible.
Co-op/Internship
and Placement Office
The Co-op/Internship and Placement Office at Miami
University Hamilton strives to provide a full
range of placement services to students, graduates,
and alumni of the two/four-year degree programs
to complement the academic objectives of those
programs. The staff assists students in finding
co-op job opportunities for qualified students
who are enrolled in the Engineering, Computer,
Business and Technical degree programs as well
as internships for qualified liberal arts majors.
Co-op/Internship experiences enhance students'
chances of getting permanent jobs upon graduation. Review the list of co-ops,

Organizations
The Office of Student Activities encourages student
growth through group involvement and facilitates

The programs complement the academic program of
studies and enhance the overall educational experience
of students through development of social, cultural,
intellectual, and recreational programs.
Recreational
Sports
The Athletics Office promotes the well-being of
students and members of the campus community by
providing a broad spectrum of recreational programs
and services in the areas of fitness, sport and
lifestyle enhancement that are responsive to the
diverse needs and interests of its members.
Athletics
The Athletics program encourages the development
of physical, social and academic growth through
participation and involvement in various sports,
support activities and student organizations.
The program includes women's volleyball, men's
basketball, women's basketball, women's softball, cheerleading, golf, women's
tennis, men's tennis, and men's baseball.
Campus
Kids Child Care Facility
The Campus Kids Child Care Facility is a licensed
child care facility serving children between
the ages of 18 months and six years. It is a
safe, secure, and play-based learning environment
with the convenience and security of having
your child nearby.
The Campus Kids Child Care Facility promotes
social/emotional, cognitive and physical development
