Advisory Council

Racial Legacies logo A Racial Legacies & Learning Advisory Council formed in 2003 consisting of faculty, staff, students and leading citizens. A Best Practices award program was developed to recognize and highlight specific initiatives around campus and in the community consistent with the purpose of the town meetings. View the Advisory Council roster for 2005 (PDF).

The Advisory Council will normally meet twice a year with the Racial Legacies & Learning Coordinators to offer suggestions, comments, and criticisms in an effort to reflect on past events and to guide future directions for the series.
