Check out the Writing Center—REN 108—the next time you’d like help with a paper. It’s easy to schedule a 1-on-1 appointment with a Peer Tutor. Do it in person at the Learning Assistance Office, or schedule it yourself on line through TutorTrac.
Remember to schedule at least 48 hours in advance.
At the Writing Center, Peer Tutors will . . .
- help you with a paper.
- help clarify an assignment, or refer you to the professor for clarification.
- help with organization, research, and formatting.
- help with grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- help make good papers GREAT.

Our Peer tutors are excellent! They come highly-recommended by Miami Hamilton English faculty and required to take EDT 310: Methods of Tutoring Adults.
Please promote this service to your students by mentioning it in your syllabi and announcing it before papers are due.
