Department of Nursing invites comments for accreditation purposes

The Miami University Department of Nursing is seeking initial review by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for accreditation of our baccalaureate of science program in nursing, including the RN-BSN completion option.  CCNE invites written and signed third party comments from communities of interest that are affected by the Department’s programs. 

We invite comments from current students, members of the university community, local and state nursing professional organizations and practicing nurses who work with students.  Members of the evaluation team consider all comments in their review of the program; however, comments are not shared with the Department. 

Comments will be accepted by CCNE until September 10, 2009, which is 30 days prior to the accreditation visit.  Comments should be sent to the following address:
