LOCAL 12’s Liz Bonis visits MUH Journalism class

LOCAL 12 TV reporter Liz Bonis addressed Bob Weber’s Journalism class at MUH last week, making a positive impact on his students.

“Liz was very popular with the students. She is a very dynamic individual and a motivating speaker,” Weber said. He and Bonis are both graduates of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York.

Bonis has been a health and medical reporter for 10 years in both radio and television. She is a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer, and a diabetes educator, earning a Master of Science degree in Public Communication & Radio-Television News from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from RIT.

Bonis is an active member of the American Heart Association, American Dietetic Association, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
