Saluting Miami Regionals' first BIS graduate

The audience at Yager Stadium roared when Lauren Elizabeth Harlow stepped up to receive her degree at Miami University's 170th annual Commencement ceremony. Harlow is the first Miami student to earn a Bachelor of Integrative Studies (BIS) degree, the newest degree offering from Miami's Regionals.

Since the BIS was offered on the regional campuses in fall, 2008, the program has grown to 229 students who are seeking the degree.
