From Scott Brown, Miami Hamilton Facilities Manager
Miami Hamilton community:
Construction projects are taking place all over campus—as you've probably already noticed. See photos of some of the current projects on flicker.com.
Disability parking will be removed from the Mosler dock area on Thursday, July 30, due to plaza project construction. The half-circle drive in front of Rentschler will be utilized for disability parking until the plaza project is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Weather permitting, access to the faculty/staff parking lot will change beginning Thursday, July 30. Access will be via a gravel road that will cut across the corner of the former soccer field. No card swipe will be necessary.
Expansion and resurfacing of the University Hall parking lot will begin on Monday, August 3. Weather permitting, the contractor will complete the project in 2-3 weeks. At some point, we will need to shut down the parking lot entirely so it can all be resurfaced and striped at the same time. The campus community will be notified as we get closer to that date.
Also, the Phelps Hall elevator renovation project has been completed and approved by the State of Ohio.
