Campus Kids celebrate Arbor Day

Dr. Richard Munson, professor of Botany and manager of The Conservatory, plants a Magnolia ‘Betty’ in front of The Conservatory with assistance from Campus Kids in observance of Arbor Day in Ohio.

Each child received an Eastern Redbud seedling to take home and plant.The trees were grown by students in Botany 221, Plant Propagation.  

Tree planting  on Arbor Day is an annual event at Miami Hamilton.
