Department of Computer & Information Technology presents IT Forum

The Department of Computer & Information Technology (CIT) invites students and educators to the fifth annual Information Technology (IT) Forum, held this year on the Miami Middletown Campus on Friday, February 27, 2009.

This year’s theme, “Disaster Recovery in IT,” will focus on how other disciplines have handled disaster recovery and how to prepare for potential disaster in the IT field.

Guest speakers hail from the Atrium Medical Center, Duke Energy, FEMA, Kroger, and Miami University.

In past years, students reported that they especially enjoyed interacting with speakers in small group sessions.  This year guest speakers will again host roundtable sessions to discuss and answer any other questions.

Attendance at the IT Forum,including lunch, is free.
