Miami Hamilton Volleyball wins, loses, still ahead over all

The Miami University Hamilton women's volleyball team defeated OSU Lima 25-8, 25-18, 25-10 on Wed. Oct. 8.

The Harriers were led by Gwen Bohman nine kills and four aces, Jill Welling seven kills, 11 digs and Brittany Penter with 22 assists, seven digs and three aces.

MUH lost to OU Chillicothe in four sets 25-10, 18-25, 17-25, 24-26 on Friday Oct. 10.

Gwen Bohman led with 15 kills, seven digs, and five aces with Amanda Kramb adding four aces and five digs.

The Harriers are 6-3 Overall and 4-2 in the ORCC.  They play UC Clermont away on Sat. Oct. 18 at 1:00 p.m.

Miami Hamilton Volleyball back on winning track

The Harriers played OU Chillicothe at home on Sat. October 4, winning in 5 sets 27-25, 24-26, 25-23, 23-25 15-9. Gwen Bohman had 16 kills 13 digs and 8 aces. Jill Welling added 14 kills and 12 digs.

In Hillsboro on Sunday the Harriers won in three sets, beating Southern State 25-20, 25-13, 25-9. Jill Welling had 11 kills and 6 digs and Missy Jahn had 7digs and 2 killls.

The Harriers are 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference., They will host OSU Lima Wednesday October 8 at 7:00 P.M. for their last home game of the season.

MUH loses two tough matches over weekend

The Miami University Hamilton volleyball team lost Saturday to UC Clermont (seeded number 1 in the USCAA) in three sets 15-25, 25-27, 23-25. Gwen Bohman had 12 kills, 9 digs, 2 blocks and Brittany Penter had 20 assists.

On Sunday MUH lost a close one against OSU Marion in four sets 25-27, 19-25, 25-21, 20-25 Gwen Bohman had 17 kills, 10 digs and Jill Welling had 24 digs, 10 kills.

The Harriers are 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference. They will host OU Chillicothe on Saturday, October 4, at 1:00 PM.

Miami Hamilton volleyball wins!

The Harriers won three straight games to defeat Southern State Community College Sunday, Sept.21.   

Miami Hamilton (3-0 overall, 2-0 Ohio Regional Campus Conference) won the games 25-7, 25-18, 25-15 with Gwen Bohman and Jill Welling leading the way. Bohman had 14 kills, four digs, two blocks and six serving aces, while Welling added six kills and 12 digs for the win.

Miami Hamilton will host the University of Cincinnati-Clermont on Saturday, September 27  at 1:00 p.m.

Harriers sweep OSU-Lima

Miami University Hamilton won in straight games 25-14, 25-22 and 25-14 to Ohio State University-Lima on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Gwen Bohman led the Harriers with nine digs, nine kills, one solo block and four service aces, teammate Brittany Penter added nine digs and 26 assists, and Corrie Lusk had nine kills of her own.

Miami Hamilton is now 2-0 overall, 2-0 in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference. They'll host Southern State Sunday September 21 on the MUH campus.

Miami Hamilton volleyball team wins opener

The Miami University Hamilton volleyball team came from behind to defeat Miami University Middletown 19-25, 11-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-11 in its season opener at home on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The Miami Hamilton volleyball team was led in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference match by Gwen Bohman (15 kills, three digs and an ace), Kylie Pate (five kills and three blocks) and Brittany Penter (16 assists).

Miami Hamilton plays away on Saturday against Lima OSU at 1:00 p.m. and Sunday at home against Southern State at 2:00 p.m.
