Are you eager to apply your business knowledge to a real business? Interested in working with the local community? Participate in Partners for Change next Fall Semester (2008)!
Partners for Change is a service learning based venture where students and members of the Latino business community create a partnership that offers:
• Small Latino Business Owners the opportunity to partner with young eager college students to teach them about real-life business practices and also to gain help with issues facing their current organization.
• Students the opportunity to gain real-world business experience and enhance their understanding of local and global issues.
Students will be involved in a course where they will work with a Latino Business Owner in the Butler County area on a specific business-related issue. Throughout the semester, the student will have the opportunity to develop a mutual relationship with the business, apply their skills, get out of the classroom and gain real world experience.
Juniors and Seniors with specific skill sets in the following: marketing, technology, computer graphics, management, leadership, and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
