Miami Hamilton trio to benefit Muscular Dystrophy
March 14, 2008
Three Miami Hamilton staff members—Jim Lipnickey, Director, Computing Services,
Chris Connell, Senior Director of Administration, and
Perry Richardson, Campus Communications Officer—will be arrested April 3 and jailed on charges of aiding and abetting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

The trio of MDA jailbirds "monkey" around. L to R: Jim Lipnickey, Chris Connell,
and Perry Richardson
The trio will need help to post bail, which has been set at $1,300. MDA will release them for as little as $850, but without the coveted iPod MP3 player and the MDA artwork plaque created by a local child with muscular dystrophy.
Jim, Chris and Perry will donate all of their “rewards for good behavior” to Annie Miller and the Office of Student Activities as drawing prizes during Miami Hamilton's upcoming Spring Fling. The more bail money raised, the better the prizes! Bail money will benefit the MDA’s local health care service program.
Donations (check or cash) should be directed to any one of the trio of future jailbirds. Donations may also be made online at the MDA website.
Please don’t leave them in the slammer!
