Second Annual “Festival de Limpieza” to follow Hamilton City-Wide Clean-Up in the 4th Ward

“La Voz,” the Latino Business Association, along with Miami’s Wilks Scholars program invite all to participate in the second annual “Festival de Limpieza” (Clean-Up Festival) to be held in concert with the City of Hamilton Clean-Up on Saturday, 3 May 2008.
Volunteers can meet at one of the two 4th Ward locations listed below to begin their clean-up. For each bag of trash returned to one of the sites, volunteers will receive a raffle ticket good toward a variety of prizes ranging from phone cards to a DVD player and Television.
The “Festival” will begin at 12:00 at Jefferson Elementary with food and prizes that will be provided by business members of “La Voz” including Taqueria Paisanos, Taqueria Mercado, Supermercado García, Valle Verde II and more. There will also be piñatas, games and the Grand Raffle.
Come help us clean up the 4th Ward and meet your friends and neighbors!
When: Saturday, 3 May 2008, Festival Clean-Up Begins at 9:00AM,
Where: Choose one of two locations:
Princeton Pike Hispanic Church of God, 1060 South 12th Street, or Living Water, 907 Sycamore Street.
After Party: Begins at 12:00 at Jefferson Elementary, 526 South 8th Street
