by Chris Settle, Director, Miami Hamilton Athletics

Harrier men pull out a big home victory

The Miami Hamilton men's basketball team held off a resilient OSU Lima squad Wednesday night for a 78-73 victory.

Undermanned, the Harriers played with just five guys, but had enough in the tank to pull out their second win of the season. All five men scored in double figures led by Joshua Mull's 22 points. Josh also went 12 for 12 from the free throw line to ice the game down the stretch.

The team will travel to OU Lancaster Saturday and Akron Wayne Sunday before taking a couple weeks off for the holidays.

Harrier Basketball edged at the last second

The Harrier men came up just short over the weekend to OU Eastern, 62-61. Miami Hamilton battled the entire game with just 6 players and fell just shy of knocking off the visiting Panthers.

Marcus Calhoun led the Harriers with 16 points and Ja'Couri Geans chipped in 13.

The Harriers currently sit at 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the league.

The Harrier men came up on the losing end of two basketball games over the weekend. On Saturday,  the Harriers lost 97-71 to Cincinnati State and followed that with a 83-61 loss to Wright State Lake on Sunday.

The Harriers currently sit at 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the league.
