SGA Campus Pride Initiative in full swing

The Miami Hamilton Student Government Association (SGA) is encouraging faculty and staff members to attend student athletic, theatre, music and cultural events this semester as part of its Campus Pride Initiative.

The SGA has proclaimed the week of February 5-9 as “Harrier Hysteria Week,” highlighted by the annual MUM-OX-MUH basketball games in the Box that Rocks on Wednesday, February 7. The women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m.

The SGA has challenged faculty and staff members to a tug-of-war competition during halftime of the men’s game. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to wear Miami Hamilton apparel in the gym that night and cheer on the Harriers!

As part of the Campus Pride Initiative, a pledge form has been developed by the SGA asking faculty and staff members to attend at least five scheduled student-centered events during the Spring ’07 semester.
