Miami Hamilton Downtown opens with news photo exhibit

The inaugural exhibition at Miami Hamilton Downtown will feature the award-winning photojournalists of Cox Ohio’s JournalNews and the Middletown Journal.

All in a Day’s Work kicks off with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 25, at Miami Hamilton’s new Downtown Center for Civic Engagement & the Arts in the historic Robinson-Schwenn building, 221 High St.

The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

A collection of favorite shots – from the breathtaking to the heartbreaking – will be on display through Nov. 30, featuring the works of news photographers Pat Auckerman, Nick Daggy, Nick Graham, Samantha Grier, Cameron Knight, Greg Lynch and Gary Steltzer.

These photographs create a rich and poignant album of day-to-day life in Butler County. For those behind the lens, it’s a life recorded and remembered – all in a day’s work.
