Miami Hamilton hosts community forum on immigration

A community forum on immigration will be held from
6:30-8:30 p.m. Wed., Oct. 25, in the Harry T. Wilks
Conference Center.
The forum, entitled “Confronting Myths and
Building Consensus,” includes not only the
Latino voice but also the voices of Asian Americans,
Muslim Americans and African Americans on how immigration
has impacted their communities.
The forum will include a breakout session guided
by trained facilitators from the National Underground
Railroad Freedom Center.
The event is sponsored by the Freedom Center and
Miami Hamilton. It is free and open to the public.
