Miami Hamilton students Angela Carter and
Alexander Hall each received a Latin American
Studies “Alejandro Garrote” Scholarship,
worth $1,250 per student, to study abroad from
Miami University.
Carter plans to travel to Mexico and study
Spanish at the University of Autonoma de Yucatan
in Merida for post-graduate work. Hall leaves
soon for Ciudad Hidalgo in Mexico to begin work
on a film about a family in transition between
Mexico and Hamilton.
