Students with disabilities present
the film On A Roll
March 18, 2005
On A Roll, a film about a 65-pound man who bares
all about his life with disabilities, will be shown
Tuesday, March 29, beginning at 3p.m. and Thursday,
March 31, beginning at 7p.m. in Room 502 Mosler.
Fueled by discrimination, Smith created “On
A Roll Talk Radio on Life and Disabilities”
from his power wheelchair in 1992. The father of three
travels the globe in a new civil rights movement,
but finds his own nation’s capital inaccessible.
The film event is free and open to the public. Viewers
are encouraged to stay for a discussion following
the film. The film is being presented by a newly forming
student organization, Accessibility to Disability.
