Food drive donations add up
to 1,209 pounds
December

Students,
staff and faculty at Miami Hamilton donated 1,209
pounds of food and a record $360 to the Shared Harvest
Food Bank in Fairfield this month.
During the
end of fall semester, boxes and bags fill the office
of Associate Professor of Math Dave Sobecki, who heads
up the fund drive.
According
to Sobecki, despite the hard work, the thrill is taking
the food and monetary donations to the center. He
also leads a similar drive in the spring as well.
"Unfortunately, there are always people in need
of food at any time of the year."
