The Department of Computer and Information Technology
(CIT) at Miami University will host a forum on Friday,
January 28, to bring together Information Technology
employers and educators in the region. The forum will
be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Harry
T. Wilks Conference Center on the Miami Hamilton Campus,
1601 University Boulevard.
“We are interested in discussing the information
technology needs of businesses in southwestern Ohio
and what will best prepare graduates for information
technology careers,” Miami University CIT Professor
Dr. Cathy Bishop-Clark said.
“While our department’s primary mission
at this time is associate degree programs, we are
interested in hearing about current and future IT
needs for all areas and levels of education. Employers,
educators and students are invited to come to this
forum to share their perspectives,” she added.
The forum’s agenda includes presentations and
panel discussions led by industry professionals and
