Troutman Nominated for Award March 11, 2004 Theresa Troutman, program associate for Academic Advising and Retention, was recently recognized as a nominee for the Jennie Elder Suel Distinguished Women of Color Award sponsored by Miami’s Women of Color Celebration. Troutman, who was nominated by Shauntae Brown White (COM/BWS), received numerous supporting letters highlighting her commitment to the students of Miami Hamilton. Troutman has been with the Miami Hamilton for 34 years. “She is always ready to greet you with a warm smile and a helpful attitude,” White said.
