Learn how to be a successful student

Summer may have just begun, but it is not too early to focus on becoming a successful student. For first-time students entering the fall semester at Miami Hamilton, Student Success Day will be held Friday, August 20.

According to Tyrone Miller, coordinator of student activities, concurrent sessions will give students, parents and other guests valuable information on financial aid, academic expectations, along with a campus tour.

Incoming students will learn how to log on to MyMiami for critical information, get a feel for the campus climate and learn about academic expectations. A student/faculty panel will be available to answer questions for all attendees. Light refreshments will be available after each session to give students and guests time for informal interaction with other new students, as well as faculty and staff.
