History’s scandals and mysteries, as well as
the Kids Voting project, highlight the 2004-2005 Michael
J. Colligan History Project. The following is a list
of events scheduled for the upcoming academic year.
Tuesday, 28 September, 2004
Distinguished scholar and Miami University professor,
Jeffrey Kimball, discusses Vietnam, Watergate and
the Nixon Resignation.

The Michael J. Colligan Film Series begins with its
first film of the academic year, Europa, Europa. The
Harry T. Wilks Conference Center, 7:00 pm.

Ambassador John Dolibois returns to the Michael J.
Colligan Lecture Series to enthrall audiences with
his "Recollections of an Ambassador: The Cold
War Years." The Harry T. Wilks Conference Center,
7:30 pm.

It's the big one! The Michael J. Colligan Project
and Hamilton City Schools partner with Kids Voting
USA to involve youth in this year's Presidential election.
Kids Voting USA is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan,
organization that fosters an informed, participating
electorate by educating and actively engaging young
people and their families in voting and other elements
of effective civic engagement.

In 2004, the third annual John E. Dolibois History
Prize will be awarded to eminent scholar and author,
Christopher R. Browning. Browning will speak on the
topic of "The Holocaust's Criminals." Parrish
