Children and Family Forum begins

Miami Hamilton joins the Butler County Commissioners and other community organizations in sponsoring a Forum on Families & Children, a series of events that seek to improve every child's potential for success. Numerous sessions are scheduled throughout September and October.

The first session will be held Friday, September 10, from 8am to 3:30pm in Parrish Auditorium with Dr. Ruby Payne as the guest lecturer. Dr. Payne will address the hidden rules of economic class and share that despite the obstacles poverty can create in all types of interaction, there are specific, proven strategies for overcoming them.
