SGA Hosts a Community Discussion: The War in Iraq

Miami Hamilton Student Government Association invites the community to a discussion on the war in Iraq on Tuesday, April 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Harry T. Wilks Conference Center.

Through this forum SGA organizers said they intend to provide an opportunity for the campus community and general public to openly discuss various feelings and issues that individuals may have as a result of the onset of the war in Iraq.

Currently two panelists have been confirmed for the event. They are Greg Flannery, news editor of City Beat and Dr. Laura Neack, professor of political science at Miami University. SGA is waiting for confirmation from other panelists.

According to William DeGenaro , assistant professor of English at Miami Hamilton, "we encourage frank and open dialogue and expect the program to be thought-provoking for all in attendance."

The event is free and open to the public.
