Kids In College program June 21, with an all new
one-day workshop called "Gear Up for Health Care:
Tricks of the Trade"-one of many incredible courses
offered as part of the summer line-up. |

| Kids in College and Teens
in Technology are enrichment programs
providing unique, exciting, and interactive learning
opportunities for youth in grades one through
eight. They'll explore, discover, and investigate
the mysteries of science, the excitement of the
arts, and new adventures in technology through
numerous hands-on activities. The fee is $69.

Take Flight with Health Care
Have you ever wondered what a Care Flight helicopter
looks like up close? Students in grades 6 through
8 can see first hand during a special one-day
workshop, "Gear Up for Health Care: Tricks of
the Trade," for Miami University Hamilton's Kids
in College. |

| The one-day health care workshop will be held
Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on
the campus of Miami Hamilton. A medivac helicopter
will land on campus and Care Flight team members
will give students a behind-the-scenes glimpse
into a first responder's world. Students also
will learn about the many career opportunities
in the health care industry. |

Hip Hip Horray!
Do you know any cheerleaders? New in the summer
lineup for Miami University Hamilton's Kids in
College is a "Cheer Camp." Catch the spirit with
jumps, cheers, chants, and a pom-pom routine.
Classes will be held for students in grades 3
through 5 Monday through Friday, June 23-27, from
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Harry T. Wilks

Reading is fun!
Students in grades 1-2 will really understand
why reading is fun after they take this course
during Kids In College week at Miami University
Hamilton. In the course, students will bring stories
alive through acting, music and crafts. |

Learn to make goo!
Science can be "fun"tastic in this course designed
for students in grades 1-2. They will learn to
make amazingly gooey, slimy projects using simple
household items. |

Take an adventure
Students in grades 3 and 4 can enter the course
of Environmental Adventures. If you think the
Thornberrys are "wild," then sign up now. Students
will be hot on the trail of aliens in Ohio, get
the inside scoop on a bug's life, and solve environmental
mysteries. |

It's a computer thing
Or, they can enter the world of computers and
get creative. Students in grades 3 and 4 can use
paint, scissors, glue and stamps without all the
mess.
Students in grades 5 and 6 can learn Graphics,
Graphics, Graphics and even create their own
amazing projects like a mousepad of their very
own. |

Students in grades 5 and 6 can test their abilities
at the Math Olympics. Here is their chance to
flex their muscles. |

For the love of drama
For the theatrical student in grades 4, 5 and
6, sign up for The Theatre Experience. Students
will learn the basic techniques of the theater
and present a talent showcase at the end of the
week. |

Teens in Technology
If you have a teen, grades 7 through 8, you are
bound to have technology. This year's Teens in
Technology course will concentrate on using Adobe
Photoshop-the programs professionals use to alter
photos and create original graphic designs. |
