Presenters at Miami University
Racial Legacies & Learning VI: How to Talk About Race
October 10, 2001
Prepared by the Staff of Rentschler Library
Miami University Hamilton
This reading list was prepared by the staff of Rentschler Library
at Miami University Hamilton at the request of the Racial Legacies
& Learning Planning Committee as a response to a member of the
audience at Racial Legacies & Learning IV that was held on September
27, 2000. The audience member asked for a list of suggested readings
to enhance his understanding and knowledge of diversity issues
and multiculturalism. This listing reflects books that were written
by several individuals who have presented relevant and provocative
lectures at Miami University over the past few years pertaining
to diversity and multiculturalism. The document will expand in
the future as additional guests are invited to the University
to continue these important dialogues. We encourage readers to
visit any of our University libraries to borrow books on the list.
