Using a Library Near You

For Ohio Residents

Use the "Search by Location" box to identify a city near you, then click on the city name. You will be taken to a new page that lists all participating libraries in that area. Please note that you must have a valid Miami identification card and be a current student in order to obtain OhioLINK borrowing privileges from these institutions. If you are do not have a current ID card, please check the library's policies for community borrowers

Alternatively, you can browse a map of the state of Ohio to find a nearby institution by going to OhioLINK's Map of Member Libraries.

For Out of State Learners

Many college and university libraries let members of their communities check out books. Usually, all that is required is a state issued Identification card & some form of proof of residency. While some institutions may charge a nominal fee for these library cards, many institutions do not impose a fee at all. Check with the academic library closest to you to see if they offer borrowing privileges to people outside of their university.

If you need help locating a university library near you, please give us a call at (513) 785-3235 and we will be happy to help!
