Rentschler Library's First Ever Haiku Contest!
When: March 22nd-April 16th
Who: Open to Miami affiliates, including students, faculty, & staff (winners must be able to pick up their prize at Rentschler Library in Hamilton, Ohio)
Where: Submit your original haiku in person at Rentschler Library or by using the online form below
What are the rules? Only 1 submission per person (no profanity please!) and ALL submissions must be your own creative work or you will be disqualified from the contest.
What do I win? Bragging rights, your haiku displayed in Rentschler Library online and/or print promotions, & a kickin t-shirt (Ladies or | Unisex )
How will a know I won?Winners will be notified by email/phone by April 23rd.
How do I write a haiku? You've got 3 lines to write. The first one is 5 syllables, the second line is 7 syllables, and then back to 5 syllables for the last line. No exceptions! An example is at the top of this page.
