The web site for the University Libraries serves as a starting point for conducting research in Rentschler Library. Use the site to connect to resources for finding books, magazine and journal articles, general library information, electronic course reserves, and more. Searching for Articles

The library’s research databases allow you to search for articles that have appeared in a diverse range of sources such as newspapers, magazines, and journals. Some articles will be completely available electronically while others may be available in the print collection. To begin a search, click the "Indexes & Databases" link at the top of the screen to select an article database for searching. Or, choose the "Research by Subject" link to locate a list of resources organized by subject area.

To see a list of information resources for a specific subject area, click one of the links under "Research by Subject" link.

Finding Books at Miami

Click the "Catalog" link at the top of the screen to access the library’s catalog. The catalog can be searched by author, title, subject, keyword, etc. The catalog can tell you the location, call number, and availability status of items in the libraries' collections.
