This web page is especially for those teachers
who have participated in one of the Institutes
sponsored by the Ohio Humanities Council [200,
2001], the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation
[2002], or the National Endowment for the Humanities
[2004]. However, anyone interested in the role
of the humanities in the education of children
can benefit from the insights posted and participate
in fruitful discussions begun here. Please feel
free to submit lesson plans, discussion questions,
pedagogical insights, teaching successes, issues
overcome, issues to be overcome, etc. It is
hoped that there will be more Institutes in
the near future.
