The University Honors Program on the Oxford campus

For students contemplating enrolling on the Oxford campus, all Honors courses taken at Hamilton will transfer to Oxford.

In order to be considered for admission to the University Honors Program in Oxford, applicants must have completed at least 15 credit hours at Miami, post high school graduation, and fewer than 45 credit hours and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Each semester applications are accepted at Oxford on a space-available basis. We advise students who wish to apply to the Oxford program to complete at least nine (9) credit hours of Hamilton Honors Program courses at Hamilton. 

The Honors Course notation (for Honors courses passed with a ‘B’ or better) will appear on the transcripts of all Honors students regardless of program or major.
