The painting below was commissioned by the current owners of 221 High St., Larry and Carla Fiehrer in 1997. The Artist is Jennifer Ann Brashear.

The painting recalls the time when the third floor of the building was an opera house that seated 1200 people. The welcoming lights seen blazing through the windows would originally be provided by gaslight.
