This panel represents a much more recent time, where man becomes part of the ecosystem, represented by threashing machine gears, plants (wheat, barley, corn) and a horseshoe. The modern crop plants of maize (corn) and soybeans are depicted here, along with the dragonfly and DNA strand. See photograph of final version of this design.
