Computing Support Services

Based on the third floor of Mosler Hall, we provide and support computer hardware and software for
faculty, staff and students on the Miami University Hamilton Campus.

Hardware: we support more than 600 computing  devices including PCs, Macintosh, printers and scanners.

Software: we support Windows XP, Macintosh OS X, Microsoft Office, and many class specific applications.

Computer Labs and Classrooms

Computers labs equipped with PCs, printers and scanners for general faculty, staff and student use are located in Mosler Hall 304 and University Hall 119.

Computer classrooms are located in Phelps Hall 103, Rentschler Hall 104, Mosler Hall, rooms 300, 319, 320 and 322 and University Hall room 120.

Software Downloads

The Miami University software downloads pages contain IT Services site license links to desktop applications that represent Miami's core suite of supported software on campus and include FREE virus protection software for faculty, staff and students' personal computer. Access is limited to members of the Miami University community and uniqueID and password information is required.

Get up to speed on the latest desktop applications and more via FREE online and in-person training.

Recycling Personal Computers

Personal computers may be recycled via the Full Circle Group (www.fullcirclegroup.org). The Full Circle Group Inc. (FCG) is a non-profit organization chartered by the State of Ohio.

FCG accepts donated computers from individuals and institutions, which they refurbish and put back into service with schools, other non-profit organizations and individuals who could not normally afford them on their own.

Call the Full Circle Group at 513.407.4221 to make arrangement to recycle your old computer.
