For more than 30 years, the Artist Series has
brought an eclectic mix of rising stars and established
performers in bluegrass, Latin, jazz and R&B
entertainment, from Nickel Creek and Los Lobos

Michael J. Colligan History Project
The History Project, a joint undertaking of
the Colligan Fund Committee of the Hamilton Community
Foundation and Miami Hamilton, is designed to
make the appreciation and study of history accessible
and enriching for all members of the university,
the schools, and the community. Community outreach
projects include a lecture series, file series,
teacher workshops, Kids Voting, and special events

Racial Legacies & Learning Town
Meetings
Each semester, Miami University Hamilton sponsors
a town meeting, which brings together higher education
and community partners to discuss racial issues
and concerns. Racial Legacies & Learning is
sponsored by Miami Hamilton's Office of the Dean, Multicultural Services, Student Services,
along with the city of Hamilton's Department of
Human Relations. Additional supporting sponsors

T. Wilks Lecture Series
This endowed series brings to the campus national
and international speakers who shape the policies
and ideas of human endeavor, such as political
columnist and TV commentator Tony Snow, Former

Miami
Hamilton Harriers
Miami Hamilton competes in the Ohio Regional
Campus Conference (ORCC), which includes Miami
University Middletown, the University of Akron-Wayne
College, and the regional campuses of Ohio University
and The Ohio State University. Student athletes
compete in basketball, tennis, baseball, golf,
cheerleading, softball and volleyball. To participate
in athletics, students must meet eligibility
requirements as set forth by the ORCC and Miami

Athletics:
Recreational and Intramural Sports
Miami Hamilton students compete in organized intramural
and recreational sports including basketball,
flag football, soccer,
table tennis and billiards. Other activities have
included canoeing trips, ice skating, skiing and
special trips to Cincinnati Reds and Cyclones
games. Our fully-equipped weight room facilities
include free weights, selectorized equipment,
a Life Cycle, stair climber, and three Lifefitness
