Campus Motor Pool

University vehicles may be used for Official University business only. Only employees of the University or others acting on behalf of the University are permitted to drive or ride in Motor Pool vehicles.

Vehicles may not be used for personal business or pleasure. Drivers of the motor pool vehicles are subject to all the laws, speed limits, and other restrictions established by the local jurisdiction through which they travel. Any fines or citations resulting from violations will be the responsibility of the driver and not the University.

Motor Pool vehicle operators must be at least 18 years old and have a valid up-to-date driver's license.

Reservation of Vehicles:
The University vehicles may be reserved by phone (5-3162) or by stopping by the Business Office.

Gasoline and Oil Purchases:
A credit card for the purchase of gasoline and oil is provided for each trip. This card is issued by the State of Ohio to be used only by the vehicle indicated on the card. All receipts for purchases are to be turned in to the Business Office. After normal working hours, keys, credit cards and receipts must be left with the Campus Security.
