Hometown: Hamilton, OH
Position: Head Coach
Experience: 1st Season
Alma Mater: Miami University (B.S. ’06)/University of Hawaii (M.Ed. ’09)
Lucy Manley is entering her first season as the Head Women’s Softball Coach. Her previous coaching experience includes Ross High School and various youth organizations, such as the Reds Rookie Success League of Butler County and the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton.
After playing softball at Ross High School, Coach Manley continued her athletic career as the starting third baseman for Miami University Middletown. She helped lead the Thunderhawks to an ORCC Championship in the program’s inaugural season.
Coach Manley graduated from Miami University (B.S. ’06) and University of Hawaii (M.Ed. ’09) and currently works as the International Programs Specialist at the Howe Center for Writing Excellence on Miami University’s Oxford campus. She also teaches courses in both the English and Kinesiology departments. Manley spends her summers as the Director of Game Day Operations for the Hamilton Joes Baseball Club.
Lucy currently resides in Lindenwald with her husband, Joshua, and their bullmastiff, Reuben.

Position: Assistant Coach
Experience: 9th Season
Alma Mater: Miami University
Robert McGlothin has been an Assistant Softball Coach at Miami University Hamilton for the past eight years. He received both his Bachelor and Master degrees from Miami University, and recently retired from the Lakota Local School District after thirty-five in education. He also spent twenty-six years as Lakota’s Elementary Summer School’s principle.
Coach McGlothin was a summer fastpitch coach for thirteen years and has been and OHSAA baseball and softball official for fifteen years. He is proud of the many Harrier Softball achievements, including ORCC Championships in 2005, 2006, and 2011, and he looks forward to many more successful seasons at Miami University Hamilton.
Robert and his wife, Gina, reside in Hamilton and are the parents of son, Justin (Alicia) and daughter, Andrea (Steve). They are also the proud grandparents of granddaughter, Addison.

Position: Assistant Coach
Experience: 1st Season
Alma Mater: Little Miami High School
Graduated: June 1998
Carrie Ellis joins the Harriers’ coaching staff this year as the Assistant Coach. Coach Ellis brings extensive coaching experience to the Harrier Softball Program.
As a stand-out catcher for Little Miami High School, Ellis received numerous awards and FAVC recognitions. After multiple knee injuries sidelined Ellis, she took her playing experience and expertise to the coaching ranks. She has coached softball at Little Miami and Ross High Schools as well as Miami University Middletown. Ellis also gives private catching lessons to high school players in the tri-state area. Additionally, she spent three seasons as the assistant varsity basketball coach at Ross High School.
In addition to her responsibilities at Miami University Hamilton, Carrie works at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and spends countless hours volunteering with terminally ill patients and their families. She currently resides in Lebanon. |

Graduated: May 1972
Dave Haubner joins the Harriers’ coaching staff this year as an Assistant Coach. Coach Haubner’s coaching experience ranges from youth to high school. In addition to his coaching experience, Haubner played baseball, basketball and softball.
In addition to his responsibilities at Miami University Hamilton, Dave owns and operates a construction business. Dave and his wife, Kara, reside in Ross and both continue to improve their golf swings. They have three children and one granddaughter, who Dave hopes will grow up to be a left-handed pitcher. |

Position: Strength and Conditioning Coach
Experience: 1st Season
Alma Mater: Chung Shan Medical University
Graduated: June 2009
Ezen Wang joins the Harriers’ coaching staff this year as the Strength and Conditioning Coach. Coach Wang is a graduate student in the Kinesiology and Health Department at Miami University where she studies Exercise Science.
In addition to her responsibilities at Miami University Hamilton, Ezen works at St. Xavier High School Athletic Department as a Strength and Conditioning Intern. Ezen resides in Oxford and hopes to complete her Master’s degree in 2012. |
