When to Apply

First-Time Freshman
We recommend high school students apply during the fall or winter of their senior year. Others should apply at least a month before the term they want to begin taking classes. If you want to apply to the nursing program, you must submit a separate nursing application. Home-schooled or alternatively-educated students, please contact the Admission Office several weeks before classes begin for specific information on materials required for curriculum evaluation.

Transfer Students
Transfer students should apply as early as possible before classes begin. Provisional admission may be granted until an official transcript(s) is received and a grade point average is verified. If you do not meet the transfer policy requirements, your admission to Miami Hamilton will be cancelled.

Re-Enrolling Students
If you are a re-enrolling Miami student, complete the online application form for re-enrollment on the Oxford Web site and also make an appointment to meet with an academic advisor at 513/785-3129.

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP)
Students must apply to the PSEO program each academic year they wish to participate.  If a student plans to participate in both the fall and spring semesters, the application and all credentials must be received by May 1.  If a student plans to participate in the spring semester only, the application and all credentials must by received by November 1.

The Financial Aid Timeline

Meeting financial aid deadlines is vitally important. Check our Dates & Deadlines Web page for an overview of important deadlines or go to Miami Oxford's Student Financial Aid Web site for a detailed, month-by-month financial aid timeline.
